Image & Content Attribution Policy

Our rules for source attribution, image licensing, illustrative imagery and third-party content use.

This policy sets out how we attribute source material and how we handle image licensing across the publication.

Source attribution

Every article identifies the publisher of the source material and, where appropriate, links to it. RSS feeds are used as a discovery mechanism only; we do not republish source articles.

Image licensing

Source images are used only where licensing permits editorial reuse or the rights holder has given permission, and where required credit can be displayed.

Where licensing is unclear or restricted, we use an approved licensed asset or an AI-generated illustrative image. Every image carries a licensing state and attribution state in our internal audit records.

Requests

If you are a rights holder and believe an image or attribution is incorrect, contact the newsroom and we will review it promptly.
