Our editorial position

We publish constructive market news: growth, investment, new capacity, contracts, partnerships, efficiency and decarbonisation progress, operational milestones and market developments. We do not publish allegations, rumours or unverified claims about companies or individuals, and we never reshape a negative story into a positive one.

Every article names its source. Where an item carries materially negative or high-risk claims, it is routed to human review rather than published automatically.

How articles are produced

We monitor approved publisher feeds, then prepare original editorial summaries of the announcements they carry. Each summary is checked for consistency with its source before publication: unsupported claims, unverifiable quotations and near-duplication of source text all block publication.

Automated summaries carry the Blue Ocean Editorial Desk byline and a visible statement identifying them as source-based summaries rather than independently reported stories.
